XC 29er Wheels

USE’s roots are in performance Mountain Bike products so it’s only right that we produce a MTB specific wheelset. The USE 29er wheelset utilises the latest carbon technology paired with USE’s Nano Surface Technology to provide a light, stiff and strong wheelset. The Nano Surface technology comes into its own on this carbon wheelset. The nanoscopically smooth surface sheds mud to allow the wheels to plough on unhindered so you can race at full speed. These wheels are tubeless ready for straight out of the box ease and the wide rim profile will have you flying round the corners with confidence. At 1743g these wheels give a lightweight, strong, reliable and eye catching wheel set sure to be the ultimate 29er upgrade.

USE Carbon wheels are at the cutting edge of technology.
USE has developed a Nano Surface Finish (patent pending) for its wheels. The surface reduces drag and reduces the ability of dirt and mud to stick. This technology was developed utilising the state of the art Guilford wind tunnel.

The same principles have also been used by the Great Britain team at the London Olympics to help maximise the performance of their equipment in their quest for gold.

The high tech carbon rims are built onto USE’s super-efficient hubs which boast fully sealed cartridge bearings and a 6pawl, 30 point engagement ensuring a fast pickup. Sapim CX Ray spokes complete the build ensuring they are up amongst the most desirable wheels on the market.

Disk specific hubs can be converted to fit either a 15mm or 12mm QR fork. The wheelset comes tubeless ready with a rim strip and tubeless valve
