Sponsored Rider News - Sean Childs
"Although I occasionally dabble in a bit of Road Racing to help my speed and endurance, it is against the clock in Time Trials where I conduct my daily business as to speak. The season so far has been good and I've already won two District championships, two Navy titles, broke 3 course records and currently hold the fastest time (as of 12 Jun 09) over 50 miles in the UK with a 1.44.42 and the fastest time over 10 and 25 miles in the South West. My improved performances are down to three areas; the first being a better bike, which is lighter, more responsive and definitely more aerodynamic (thanks in no uncertain terms to the USE Aero Bars), the second acquiring the coaching services of Colin Lewis (ex British Road Race Champions and twice Tour De France finisher) and thirdly my health which apart from a few sniffles and Tonsilitis earlier in the year are far better than usual. I am managing to train about 10-12 hrs per a week which is good for me considering the hours I work and having a young family (girl aged 6 and boy aged 2)."
Well done Sean on the season so far and we hope to hear of more top results soon!
